Multe asocia\u021bii din diaspora cu care am colaborat trimi\u021b\u00e2ndu-le evenimente, organizate de Institutul Cultural Rom\u00e2n de la New York, \u00een limba rom\u00e2n\u0103 \u0219i englez\u0103, au \u00eenceput s\u0103 preia anumite formate, s\u0103-\u0219i l\u0103rgeasc\u0103 baza de date \u0219i de contacte.\u0219i au redimensionat evenimentele culturale dep\u0103\u0219ind nostalgia, improviza\u021bia, intimismul. Programul ICRNY a inspirat aceste asocia\u021bii. Ele \u0219i-au reg\u00e2ndit festivalurile rom\u00e2ne\u0219ti, evenimentele din sala social\u0103, derulate dup\u0103 slujbele religioase sau de marile s\u0103rb\u0103tori.L-am adus pe Gheorghe Le\u0219e la un Festival iar efectul a fost c\u0103 \u00een anii urm\u0103tori au fost invita\u021bi numai mae\u0219tri, rapsozi, virtuo\u0219i ai muzicii populare \u0219i tradi\u021bionale rom\u00e2ne\u0219ti. Am avut o str\u00e2ns\u0103 colaborare cu mai multe asocia\u021bii culturale canadiene \u0219i americane, am dezvoltat \u0219i extins multe proiecte la ini\u021biativa Ambasadelor Rom\u00e2niei \u0219i Republicii Moldova \u00een Canada. \u00cen America. Am lucrat foarte bine cu echipele din Consulatele Generale. \u00cemi amintesc de nenum\u0103ratele proiecte derulate cu profesori universitari de la catedrele de limbi, de istorie, de film \u0219i de teatru din at\u00e2tea universit\u0103\u021bi americane, de proiectele \u00een care am colaborat cu ambasadorii de la Misiunea Permanent\u0103 a Rom\u00e2niei la ONU, de la Ambasadele Rom\u00e2niei de la Washington \u0219i din Canada, cu ambasadorii Republicii Moldova din America \u0219i Canada.\u00a0 Am s\u0103rb\u0103torit Festivalul dedicat Zilei Limbii Rom\u00e2ne printr-o salb\u0103 de evenimente, cu invita\u021bi de prim plan.De pild\u0103 nu a\u0219 vrea s\u0103 uit de spectacolul de poezie rom\u00e2neasc\u0103, muzic\u0103 \u0219i film documentar a fost organizat, \u00eendata de 15 august, \u00een sala mare C\u00f4te-des-Neiges din Montr\u00e9al, \u00een data de 16 august, la sala Centrepoint Studion Theatre, din Ottawa, \u0219i \u00een data de 18 august 2015, la sala Auditorium a Institutului Cultural Rom\u00e2n de la New York. Spectacolul a cuprins prezentarea produc\u021biilor Studioului \u201eFlac\u0103ra Film\u201c- Chi\u0219in\u0103u (Lumini\u021ba Dumbr\u0103veanu \u0219i Teodor Gu\u021bu), lansarea c\u0103r\u021bii-document Eugen Doga. <em>Muzica este prima \u0219i ultima mea iubire <\/em>de Lumini\u021ba Dumbr\u0103veanu, un recital de nai \u00een interpretarea lui Vasile Iovu, cuprinz\u00e2nd muzic\u0103 rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 \u0219i crea\u021bii ale lui Eugen Doga, interpretate \u00een duet cu compozitorul (nai \u0219i muzicu\u021b\u0103), proiec\u021bia filmului documentar <em>Eugen Doga<\/em> (realizatori Lumini\u021ba Dumbr\u0103veanu \u0219i Teodor Gu\u021bu), recital sus\u021binut de Eugen Doga, cuprinz\u00e2nd lucr\u0103ri din crea\u021bia proprie, majoritatea f\u0103c\u00e2nd parte din patrimoniul muzical rom\u00e2nesc. Ala M\u00eendicanu, pre\u0219edinte al Comunit\u0103\u021bii Moldovenilor din Quebec, a sus\u021binut un recital de poezie rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 din crea\u021bia poe\u021bilor Mihai Eminescu, Nichita St\u0103nescu, A. Mateevici \u0219i Grigore Vieru.Audien\u021ba a inclus mii de oameni, dat fiind c\u0103 spectacolele au fost preluate de televiziuni.Despre marile recitaluri sus\u021binute de Constantin Chiriac \u0219i Emil Boroghin\u0103 am vorbit deja.Un singur lucru m-a \u00eentristat, legat de aceste colabor\u0103ri. Ce rost mai au institutele culturale care reprezin\u021b\u0103 \u021b\u0103ri anume.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DU.:<\/strong>Civiliza\u021biile, culturile reprezint\u0103 identit\u0103\u021bi.\u00cen orice mare muzeu al lumii, pictura, sculptura, artele decorative, etc nu sunt expuse la \u00eent\u00e2mplare \u00eentr-un muzeu otova, ca o zacusc\u0103 muzeeal\u0103 sau un ghiveci c\u0103lug\u0103resc.Menirea omului este de a \u00een\u021belege identit\u0103\u021bile, de a le respecta, de a percepe ceea ce este diferit \u0219i ceea ce este identic, apartenan\u021ba noastr\u0103 fa\u021b\u0103 de spa\u021biu \u0219i timp, reperele care ne c\u0103l\u0103uzesc, memoria valorilor.Institutele culturale din America arboreaz\u0103 steagul \u021b\u0103rilor lor al\u0103turi de cel american \u0219i al Comunit\u0103\u021bii Europene, dac\u0103 \u021bara lor face parte din CE.\u00cen fiecare an, marile avenide din New York sunt dedicate s\u0103rb\u0103toririi zilelor na\u021bionale ale at\u00e2tor \u021b\u0103ri, prilej de afirmare a ob\u00e2r\u0219iilor, obiceiurilor, muzicii \u0219i costumelor na\u021bionale \u0219i pentru c\u0103 a venit vorba de steag, a\u0219 vrea s\u0103 amintesc un eveniment care ar trebui s\u0103 aib\u0103 loc anual, cu un format complex care determin\u0103 calitatea s\u0103rb\u0103torii, integrarea ei \u00een istorie. M\u0103 refer la un proiect intitulat \u201cDrapelul na\u021bional al Rom\u00e2niei. Istorie \u0219i actualitate\u201c, dedicat s\u0103rb\u0103toririi Zilei Drapelului Na\u021bional (26 iunie), organizat la sediul institutului. Proiectul a constat \u00eentr-o expozi\u021bie de reproduceri fotografice ale diferitelor \u00eenf\u0103\u021bi\u0219\u0103ri cunoscute de stindardul rom\u00e2nesc de-a lungul istoriei noastre moderne \u0219i contemporane, c\u0103rora li s-au ad\u0103ugat, \u00eentr-o expozi\u021bie adiacent\u0103, c\u0103r\u021bi \u0219i albume din biblioteca institutului consacrate evolu\u021biei \u00eensemnelor na\u021bionale de stat ale rom\u00e2nilor. Vizitatorii au avut prilejul s\u0103 asculte at\u00e2t acorduri ale actualului imn na\u021bional al Rom\u00e2niei, <em>De\u0219teapt\u0103-te, rom\u00e2ne!,<\/em> c\u00e2t \u0219i ale altor c\u00e2ntece, care, \u00een alte etape istorice, au avut calitatea de imnuri na\u021bionale ale Rom\u00e2niei, precum: <em>Mar\u0219 triumfal la primirea steagului \u0219i a M\u0103riei Sale Prin\u021bul Domnitor<\/em>, c\u00e2ntat \u00een perioada 1862-1884; <em>Tr\u0103iasc\u0103 Regele<\/em>, \u00een anii 1884-1948; <em>Trei culori<\/em>, \u00een perioada 1977-1989.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grigore Culian:<\/strong> A\u021bi privilegiat poezia?<\/p>\n<p>D<strong>U.:<\/strong> Doar \u00een sensul atmosferei \u0219i calit\u0103\u021bii evenimentelor.\u0219i al bog\u0103\u021biei de informa\u021bii.Am reintrodus at\u00e2tea nume de mari poe\u021bi \u0219i at\u00e2tea universuri lirice \u0219i at\u00e2tea c\u0103r\u021bi de poezie aflate \u00een biblioteca Institutului. Un eveniment intitulat \u201eDe la avangard\u0103 la modernitate \u0219i marii poe\u021bi rom\u00e2ni din perioada interbelic\u0103\u201c a generat o expozi\u021bie organizat\u0103 la sediu, cuprinz\u00e2nd volume din fondul Bibliotecii Institutului Cultural Rom\u00e2n de la New York, precum \u0219i panouri cu reproduceri dup\u0103 portretele \u0219i manuscrisele scriitorilor rom\u00e2ni Tudor Arghezi, George Bacovia, Ion Barbu, Lucian Blaga, V. Voiculescu, Adrian Maniu, B. Fundoianu \u0219. a. Proiectul a fost dedicat, de asemenea, s\u0103rb\u0103toririi Zilei Limbii Rom\u00e2ne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grigore Culian<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Sunte\u021bi o pasionat\u0103 cunosc\u0103toare a artelor vizuale. Cunoa\u0219te\u021bi muzeele new yorkeze \u0219i americane, scrie\u021bi despre art\u0103, a\u021bi publicat c\u0103r\u021bi-album despre doi mari arti\u0219ti rom\u00e2ni care au tr\u0103it la New York, Vlaicu Ionescu \u0219i Constantin Antonovici, elevul lui Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i. Primul drum pe care l-a\u021bi f\u0103cut dup\u0103 ce a\u021bi devenit director ICRNY, a fost s\u0103 vizita\u021bi expozi\u021bia de la Pace Gallery a pictorului Adrian Ghenie, artistul care a atins cele mai \u00eenalte cote pe pia\u021ba de art\u0103. A\u021bi publicat un amplu comentariu despre expozi\u021bie \u00een \u201eCotidianul\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DU<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Nu e u\u0219or s\u0103 expui, mai ales \u00een galeriile care conteaz\u0103.Am sus\u021binut mul\u021bi arti\u0219ti. \u00cemi vine \u00een minte acum expozi\u021bia \u201eUnborn Nursery\u201c a artistului vizual Dan Voinea, organizat\u0103 la Slag Gallery din New York, prima expozi\u021bie personal\u0103 a artistului \u00een New York, cuprinz\u00e2nd opt lucr\u0103ri de mari dimensiuni executate \u00een ulei pe p\u00e2nz\u0103, \u00eentr-o manier\u0103 original\u0103.La deschidere a vorbit directoarea Galeriei, Irina Protopopescu, am prezentat \u0219i eu lucr\u0103rile acestui artist despre care ve\u021bi mai auzi. El are deja multe particip\u0103ri la t\u00e2rguri de art\u0103 din SUA. Artele vizuale, filmul, muzica au \u0219anse mari de a atrage publicul, de\u0219i audien\u021bele mari presupun o concuren\u021b\u0103 acerb\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Cu at\u00e2t mai mult apreciezi, c\u00e2nd \u0219tii presiunea concuren\u021bei spectacolele cu piesa intitulat\u0103 <em>Aventurile lui Harap Alb\/BlackWhite<\/em>, dup basmul cunoscut, tradus \u0219i adaptat \u00een englez\u0103 de Vasile Flutur, care a f\u0103cut \u0219i regia, folosind \u00een distribu\u021bie copii \u0219i adolescen\u021bi americani, \u00eembr\u0103ca\u021bi \u00een costume rom\u00e2ne\u0219ti. A fost\u00a0 o colaborare ICRNY cu Piper Theatre Productions, companie de teatru cu sediul \u00een Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York. Dar sufletul colabor\u0103rii l-a dat Vasile Flutur. Ce minunate sunt Imaginile cu to\u021bi ace\u0219ti copii \u0219i adolescen\u021bi americani, acorii din spectacolul \u201cBlackWhite. The Adventures of Harap-Alb\u201d! Fotografiile f\u0103cute la The Old Stone House in Washington Park, Brooklyn, \u00een Park Slope, New York au fost realizate de Adi Bulboac\u0103, implicat \u00een acest proiect, de asemenea. Spectacolul a fost jucat \u00een limba englez\u0103 de 15 copii americani, a durat o or\u0103 \u0219i a fost regizat de Adrian Bulboac\u0103. Spectacolul a avut muzic\u0103 proprie, compus\u0103 de Arthur Solari. <em>Povestea lui Harap-Alb<\/em> a fost tradus\u0103 \u0219i adaptat\u0103 \u00een englez\u0103 de Vasile Flutur, profesor de actorie, regizor, scenarist \u0219i actor, rezident \u00een New York. Reprezenta\u021biile au continuat toat\u0103 vara. <em>Blackwhite. Nu am invitat pe nimeni \u00een proiectele ICRNY ca s\u0103-l facem nefericit sau s\u0103 se simt\u0103 dispre\u021buit, abandonat \u00een America.Dar nu am putut s\u0103 le pun fiec\u0103ruia \u00een buzunar o carte de credit activ\u0103 care s\u0103 le permit\u0103 cazarea \u00een hotelurile pl\u0103tite de ICR.Nu am demarat nici un proiect f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 trimitem invita\u021bilor formulare care specificau tot ce era necesar s\u0103 aib\u0103 la ei.<\/p>\n<p>Apar \u0219i invita\u021bi isterici,narcisi\u0219ti, de o egolatrie teribil\u0103. De regul\u0103 sunt cei mai pu\u021bin valoro\u0219i. \u0219i, Slav\u0103 Domnului, sunt pu\u021bini.Te sun\u0103 la dou\u0103 noaptea, te pun s\u0103 le repe\u021bi, din nou, a zecea oar\u0103, cine e invitat, \u00ee\u021bi cer, aproape som\u00e2ndu-te s\u0103 scrii despre ei \u0219i s\u0103 trimi\u021bi la pres\u0103 ditirambii. Arta lor e copilul lor abia n\u0103scut, trebuie protejat de \u00eentreg universul. Toat\u0103 lumea trebuie s\u0103-i taie ombilicul.Arti\u0219tii adev\u0103ra\u021bi sunt calmi, nu eman\u0103 isterie, ci bucurie. Lucreaz\u0103 al\u0103turi de tine. \u00cemi amintesc de participarea filmului documentar <em>Stream of Love<\/em>(regia \u00c1gnes S\u00f3s), \u00een cadrul Rural Route Film Festival, la Museum of the Moving Image din New York. Evenimentul a reprezentat premiera new-yorkez\u0103 a filmului care a fost proiectat deja \u00een peste 40 de festivaluri din \u00eentreaga lume.Sau m\u0103 g\u00e2ndesc la participarea regizorului Cristian Ionu\u021b Vasilescu (Kiki Vasilescu) la \u201eFestival of Globe\u201c, de la San Francisco.Prietenii mei americani \u0219i rom\u00e2ni din San Francisco au fost \u00eenc\u00e2nta\u021bi de\u00a0 filmul lui Kiki Vasilescu, <em>Terapie pentru crim\u0103<\/em>, participant \u00een competi\u021bia de lungmetraje. A c\u00e2\u0219tigat Premiul pentru cel mai bun regizor \u00een cadrul festivalului, fiind singurul film rom\u00e2nesc selectat \u00een programul manifest\u0103rii.
